Processing steps
  1. steaming increases porosity and begins hydrolysis of caffeine, normally bonded to salts and chlorogenic acid [sugarcane decaffeination]
  2. submerged in an ethyl acetate solvent until97% of caffeine removed
  3. final steam lifts residual traces of ethyl acetate
